Digital Campaign manager Marketing

 

Description
 

The Campaign Manager, Marketing is accountable for all facets of campaign management including planning, development, production, implementation, execution and post-campaign reviews across all customer segments for assigned Lines of Business.

 

The Campaign manager will be responsible for the development and execution of offer-based campaigns, including offer management and profitability, stakeholder approvals, and exceptions. The Campaign Manager will lead the implementation of sales enablement strategies and tactics for the business, including execution of digital and mass marketing & promotional strategies across the lines of business.

  

Key Accountabilities

 

60% Campaign Management

  • Accountable for driving campaign targets for the businesses across assigned Lines of Business
  • Proactively identify new promotional techniques to increase brand loyalty and increased profit.
  • Understanding of the customer experience and how it applies to the portfolio from all business aspects, including competitive position, market position, customer journey and channel requirements to inform positioning and communication requirements
  • Responsible for market penetration and new customer acquisition using data to drive promotion offer insights and tests
  • Build and lead execution of campaigns based on industry best practices
  • Use detailed analytics to understand customer segments and performance in order to best expand and optimize campaigns
  • Work with Digital Acquisition Manager to deliver regular campaign reporting
  • Drives pre- and post-campaign analytics and reviews campaign segments, response and sales rates, trends and feedback from channels, channel effectiveness and customer preference, etc. to identify opportunities for selection criteria improvements, new campaign approaches and test-and-learn opportunities.
  • Work with the digital acquisition manager and the analytics team to improve campaign reporting, user tracking and campaign optimization
  • Optimize end to end customer journey to support the sales funnels
  • Actively contribute to discussions and brainstorming sessions
  • Assist the sales teams with creating promotional solutions with a specialized scale to target a specific demographic and market
  • Ensure there is a cohesive customer journey to capitalize on the customer funnel
  • Develop and implement content marketing strategy and implementation 
  • Prioritize and manage workload effectively
  • Manage assigned campaign budget
  • Supports customer relationship building initiatives (event triggers, onboarding, retention, etc.) delivered in partnership with internal teams and ensures programs align with the line of business strategy
  • Collaborates with acquisition leads during campaign creation including targeting and testing scenario planning
  • Coordinate and ensure customer service and support services teams are ready to support campaign offers
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time and to the highest possible standard
  • Drive profitability via growth, optimization, creative testing and path-to-purchase testing
  • Document and understand the Canadian marketplace, including impacts of the US and other foreign competitors entering Canada. Using market knowledge, customer information, and analytics tools, assess customer needs and make recommendations for how to improve overall business results
  • Undertake special project as assigned

15% Strategic Planning Support

  • Support the development, implementation, review and revision of annual campaign plans including assimilating BMO’s vision, mission, values, operational and resource plans
  • Think holistically about all marketing and identify, evaluate and prioritize opportunities for future campaign offers and mass advertising initiatives

15% D. Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to generate opportunities for the business
  • Influence these partners in order to build the brand and customer targets, enhance communication programs and take advantage of synergies
  • Work in partnership with internal marketing partners ensuring to leveraging marketing activities
  • Communicate campaign effectiveness to line of business partners and build strong relationships to develop a culture of collaboration with a solutions-driven approach

10% E.  Risk Management and Control

  • Monitor marketing and client communications to ensure adherence to standards of third party brands and compliance with legal, privacy, legislative and association regulations
  • Recognize new standards and partner with enterprise teams to update as required
  • Provide budget control reports to leader in order to facilitate effective management of marketing spend
  • Ensure all required authorizations and approvals are obtained for the execution of advertising campaigns

 

Qualifications
 

Knowledge and Skills 

Knowledge:

  • Post-Secondary Degree in Marketing/Business
  • 3-5 years Marketing and Business Management experience
  • Experience managing offer-based campaigns
  • Experience in digital acquisition performance marketing (Search, Programmatic Display, Social content marketing), advertising, and related fields
  • Exceptional project management and time-management abilities to direct multiple concurrent initiatives with different time requirements
  • Experience working with databases, and marketing tools such as Site Catalyst
  • Experience working in site optimization projects an asset
  • Experience working in an Advertising Agency/managing Agency Relationships an asset
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Proven ability to manage relationships across an organization
