Product Marketing Specialist

In a Nutshell:

Be part of the complete marketing experience from product positioning to sales enablement. You will directly influence our product journey here at Nextopia. We are looking for a driven marketing champion to lead the execution and delivery of core product releases to market, developing product messaging, positioning, and content, as well as sales enablement. Working closely with our Senior Director of Marketing, this is a critical role within our marketing team.

What will you do:

  • Produce externally facing content such as customer stories/case studies, webinars, datasheets, feature briefs, whitepapers, website updates, and more
  • Create compelling and easy to understand internally facing content including sales training, competitive positioning, FAQs, pricing guides, battlecards, and cheat sheets
  • Research and identify the profile of target customers, their needs, and how our products will meet those needs
  • Work closely with sales and the product management team, and translate technical capabilities into benefits, proper product messaging and positioning
  • Train internal teams – including sales and support – on new functionality and services
  • Participate in execution of go-to-market strategy and marketing plans necessary to meet company revenue goals

Who you are:

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Understanding and ability to tailor communication style to segmented audiences
  • Experience in creating marketing content for a B2B audience across a broad range of content types and channels
  • 2-4 years of experience in product marketing, ideally in technology or B2B industries
  • Self-starter team player, willing to take initiative, and ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Experience in marketing mix including planning, implementing, and managing marketing initiatives encompassing market/competitive assessment, product/services launch strategies/implementation, and marketing/sales collateral development
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage a multiple projects simultaneously
