IT Support Analyst

Description: The IT Support Analyst will have thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware as well as a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The IT Support Analyst will maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability within WES.


Provide onsite hardware and software support for PC's, laptops, phones, printers, scanners and networking devices.

  • User onboarding and off-boarding in Active Directory and other systems. Creating and updating user profiles.
  • Troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications, Citrix, WebEx, network, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Analyzes and resolves incidents and requests regarding use of application software and hardware or escalating it to the proper technical person in New York.
  • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution. Logs and tracks incidents and requests from identification through resolution.
  • Replace, upgrade or move PC's, monitors, printers and scanners.
  • Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms.
  • Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Assist in any system wide issues or outages related to internet, switches, and servers in Toronto.
  • Required to be available outside normal business hours
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • College degree or University Degree with a major in Information Technology, computer networking and hardware, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Two years of experience in setup, configuration, troubleshooting of desktop/notebook hardware and software.
  • Some knowledge of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc.).
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and attention to details.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • A+ Certification preferred.
