The position:

The Director of Digital Media is a newly created position and we are seeking a strategic top performer who is looking to take advantage of the latest technologies and opportunities that will maximize digital distribution at APTN.

You will:

  • Strategically manage the development, implementation and evolution of APTN’s digital media strategies including APTN’s OTT services, activities and content
  • Analyze user needs, industry trends and business opportunities 
  • Determine how APTN can take advantage of the latest technologies and opportunities that will maximize digital distribution
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all APTN departments


You bring:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline; bac +3 to bac +5 (human sciences, political science, communication, audio-visual)
  • Proven leadership, strategic planning and negotiating skills
  • Knowledge and skills in website development, architecture and new technologies
  • Strong understanding of usability practices, information design and User-Centered Design principles
  • Excellent knowledge of various television content and webcasting platforms (VOD, SVOD, xVOD);
