A General Reporter is sought for two bilingual Montreal South Shore weekly newspapers: St-Lambert Journal (circ. 9,000) and the Brossard Journal (circ. 25,000).

We can offer:

This is a profitable full-time freelance contract position with a regular flow of work.

The remuneration is near to Canadian Press freelance rates.

The editorial budget for this post is $45,000 per year. Our requirements are: Journalism degree with some experience. Or, two years minimum print experience. Candidate must be fluent in oral French.

Excellent English-language writing ability. Available to work a night, or weekend day, when needed. Must have a vehicle for local transportation.

This position is open to resident Canadian citizens who can relocate to Montreal within two weeks.
