Role Summary
Eminence Organic Skin Care is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who knows their way around the
internet and is passionate about skin care and wellbeing. The Digital Marketing Specialist knows how to use
digital marketing best practices and web analytic insights to increase Eminence Organics' digital presence. The
Digital Marketing Specialist is a well-rounded digital marketer who has an exceptional skillset in both search
and email marketing.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with both the Director of Digital Experience and the Digital
Marketing team to engage both spas (Eminence Organics’ Customers) and End-Consumers with our brand
and products through our corporate websites: www.eminenceorganics.com, www.eminencekidsfoundation.org
and www.eminenceorganicfarm.com.

Reporting and Peer Relationships
The Digital Specialist reports to the Director of Digital Experience and will work closely with the Digital
Marketing team and Marketing team as well as other departments throughout Eminence.

Roles and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Email Marketing

  • Maintain a solid understanding of email marketing strategies and best practices throughout North America
  • Work with the Digital Team to develop and implement a complete Email marketing strategy (including
campaign content for Professional Customers, Leads and End-Consumers and new email acquisition)
  • Maintain the email marketing content calendar
  • Develop and test End-Consumer and Professional Customer email campaigns and workflows
  • Oversee creation and development of new email templates and redesign of existing templates
  • Generate and present reports and analytics of our email marketing program, including the financial impact
via B2B ecommerce
  • Identify areas of opportunity and improvement in the email processes and content

Content for Professional Users
There is a specific section of Eminence’s website for Professional Users in the Spa Industry who have opened
accounts with Eminence. The Professional Site also provides internal-use-only sections for the Eminence
Sales & marketing teams:
  • Work with the Digital Marketing, Marketing, Sales and Education departments to curate and create unique
content for the users of our professional website
  • Work with the Print Marketing team to ensure all spa support materials are represented effectively on the
website
  • Create unique and meaningful online experiences for our professional website (B2B) users
  • Maintain a content calendar that includes start and end dates for professional content promotions and
downloadable materials
  • Work directly with professional website users to communicate to them: new features, enhancements and
information about our website


B2B Ecommerce

  • Create new landing pages (and maintain existing landing pages) for B2B sales and promotional periods
with the goal of maximizing B2B sales
  • Use web analytic and sales data to:
o Optimize and manage website product categories and the products that live within them
o Optimize and manage product information page content
o Increase overall conversion and onsite sales while decreasing bounce and exit rates
o Create the best possible onsite experience for all of our Customers

Websites - Content & Functionality
For the Eminence websites, www.eminenceorganics.com, www.eminencekidsfoundation.org,
www.eminenceorganicfarm.com:

  • Ensure Websites are performing optimally and helping to achieve our digital marketing and corporate goals
  • Update content to all websites as needed
  • Work directly with Eminence’s in-house web development team to create, test and deploy new features
and enhancements to our websites
  • Work directly with Eminence SEO Specialist to improve websites’ user experience

Perform Other Duties as Required

  • Arrive on time daily and for scheduled meetings, including Daily Kick Off Meeting at 8AM
  • Respond to internal and external Customer calls and e-mails within 1 business day



Experience Required
  • Post-secondary education in Business or Communications with a Marketing focus or related experience
  • Digital Marketing experience with a focus in email marketing and marketing automation - 2-3 years
  • Ecommerce experience – 2–3 years (B2B an asset)
  • Web Analytics (Google Marketing Platform Tools) – 2-3 years
  • HubSpot CRM and Marketing Suite experience an asset
  • Drupal and Drupal Commerce experience an asset
  • Managing the online distribution of consumer packaged goods an asset
  • Skin care industry experience or proven passion an asset

  • Impeccable written and oral English skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
