Marketing and Communications Lead

As the Marketing & Communications Lead, you will be responsible for owning all aspects of Finger Food Studios’ branding and communications internally and externally with clients to optimize the reach and reputation of Finger Food Studios. As the sole Marketing and Communications practitioner, you will ensure communication objectives are consistent with Finger Food Studios’ branding, business strategy, and company-wide initiatives.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is hands-on and who will roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Working closely with Business Development, Project Teams, and Finger Foods Executives, the Marketing & Communications Lead provides ongoing tactical advice on internal and external communications, brand management, social media and marketing communications, event management, media relations, and partner communications.


  • Act as the communication and branding lead on all strategic organizational initiatives
  • Develop, implement and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies of marketing communications, including:
  • Digital and Social Media;
  • Paid Media (Advertising and Promotions);
  • Earned Media (Journalism);
  • Partner Media (International partners).
  • Handle all social communications for the Business Development and Project teams
  • Act as a lead for corporate events, events hosted in-house, and external events
  • Liaise with appropriate stakeholders for all media-related matters, and all aspects of issues management.
  • Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to identify communications opportunities and synergies.
  • Manage external consultants, stakeholders and partners to promote and safeguard Finger Food Studios’ visual identity.
  • Exercise a high level of diplomacy and discretion in all interactions.
  • Exercise professional and managerial judgment in advising the executive team on a variety of matters.


  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working at an Agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex and demanding environment
  • Demonstrated ability to write quickly and fluently for a variety of audiences and communications platforms (ie, print, web, social, etc.).
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles and practices of communications, social media platforms, and public relations.
  • Experience with content management systems such as Drupal and WordPress.
  • Possesses sound understanding of brand guidelines and brand strategies.
  • Possesses a collaborative, team-focused working style and the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of people – internal and external. Understands the value of building relationships for the long-term.
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated. Ability to think and act independently and see the broad implications of events; can see long range opportunities and potential problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently grasp the scope of specific issues and the potential impacts on the organization.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability grasp the complexity of Finger Food Studios business model and other initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex concepts, technologies, and solutions.
  • Experience in the technology sector is a plus.
  • Relationship with PR Agency is a plus.
